What it does
Creates scalable vector graphics (SVG) from a text description using an AI model. The AI builds the SVG in layers (background, midground, foreground) and can refine the image over several iterations.
Inputs and limits
- CLI: requires a text prompt supplied with
--query. Optional--max-iterations(default 3, allowed 1‑5) controls how many refinement passes the AI performs.--previous-svg-contextcan be used to start from an existing SVG. The plugin reads no input files; it writes the SVG and a metadata JSON file to the task’s output folder. - Web app: asks for a text prompt or an existing SVG code. The prompt should describe the desired graphic; optional follow‑up prompts can be used to edit or refine the result.
- The plugin runs on the .NET 10 runtime and needs a Documentize license file (
documentize.lic) next to the DLL, otherwise it runs in evaluation mode. - No file size limits are defined for the generated SVG.
Web app
The page at /ai-prod/svg-maker shows a chat‑style interface. Users type a description of the SVG they want, or paste existing SVG markup, then click “Create My SVG with AI”. The AI returns a preview of the generated SVG, which can be edited further through additional prompts. The final SVG can be downloaded as a file.
Command line (CLI)
The Documentize SvgMaker CLI plugin generates an SVG from a prompt. Provide the prompt with --query and optionally set the number of refinement iterations with --max-iterations. The plugin creates a task folder, writes the SVG (SvgMaker_i1.svg) and a JSON handoff file, and exits with code 0 on success.
